Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will lead a high-level Indian business delegation on a five-day visit to Spain, Belgium, and Finland from July 13 to 17, aimed at strengthening India's economic engagement with Europe. The visit will focus on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, technology, innovation, and sustainability, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The tour will begin in Spain, where Goyal will participate in a Business Roundtable jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, CEOE, and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
The event will bring together leading business executives from India and Spain to explore new avenues for collaboration across key sectors, including automotive, renewable energy, railways, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, food processing, and tourism.
The discussions are expected to encourage greater business partnerships and investment opportunities between the two countries.
On July 14 and 15, the minister will travel to Belgium, where he is scheduled to meet senior executives from Thales Group and Silox Group. During his visit, Goyal will also participate in the India-EU Business Roundtable and the Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Plenary.

The engagements will focus on enhancing foreign investment, easing trade, promoting sustainable technologies, strengthening resilient supply chains, and deepening strategic cooperation between India and the European Union.

The final leg of the visit will take Goyal to Finland on July 16 and 17, where he will participate in the India-Finland Business Roundtable. The discussions are expected to highlight opportunities for collaboration in advanced manufacturing, clean technologies, digital innovation, research, and emerging industries.
