Ford Appoints Maria Grazia Davino as VP of Sales for Europe

Ford is persistently enhancing its leadership group in Europe as it speeds up the transformation of its operations and hones its emphasis on providing an outstanding experience for customers throughout the area.

The company announced today that Maria Grazia Davino has been named vice president of sales for Ford of Europe, starting October 1, 2026.

Davino will take charge of directing sales throughout Europe and managing all commercial activities, such as retail, dealer network, and distribution. She will directly report to Jim Baumbick, President of Ford Europe.

Davino's selection demonstrates Ford's dedication to catering to customers in Europe with a product range that is distinctly varied and customized to meet the demands of European consumers.

Ford aims to enhance Ford Pro, its commercial vehicle division where it leads in Europe, while launching a product push in the passenger vehicle market, introducing five new models in showrooms by 2029.

Davino is a highly skilled senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, focusing on sales, marketing, and business transformation. She recently held the position of Regional Managing Director at BYD Europe, overseeing operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the Nordic countries, while effectively growing the brand in every market.

Prior to his time at BYD, Davino held senior leadership positions at Stellantis for over ten years. She most recently held the position of Group Managing Director and CEO at Stellantis UK, overseeing a diverse portfolio and steering the company's shift toward electric vehicles.

Earlier in her career at Stellantis, she occupied leadership roles overseeing European Sales and Marketing and managing operations in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and the UK. Her career started at Lamborghini Automotive in 2003.
