Bengaluru Airport Signs Pact on Europe-India Cargo Corridor

Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), managing Kempegowda International Airport, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Frankfurt Airport at Air Cargo India to enhance cargo links between South India and Europe.

The partnership unites two major cargo hubs - Bengaluru airport, which supports one of India's rapidly expanding manufacturing and export regions, and Frankfurt, one of Europe's most interconnected cargo centers.

According to the MoU, the airports will create a systematic framework that includes joint trade lane analysis, development of digital corridors, standards for pharmaceutical integrity, and sharing of knowledge.

The goal is to enhance shipment transparency, minimize dwell times, and provide more reliable service levels for cargo stakeholders.
